New - "Snowdrop"

I know we are still in early winter but I am not a fan and so once we get past Christmas I am always looking for signs of Spring and Snowdrops are one of the first, so I love them. This sweet little chap is our interpretation of these beautiful little flowers which herald longer days and more flowers to come. He is 4" tall and is made from very soft, straight, pale green mohair, to represent the white flower we have used white mohair for his head and ears and the small green hat with the stalk is like the little green cap at the top of the flower. All snowdrops have six tepals, three larger and three smaller ones which are notched and often tipped in green, we have used white felt for these and made him a collar to portray the petals of the flower. Snowdrop has pale green ultrasuede pads and paws, shiny black English glass eyes and a green stitched nose. He is steel shot filled so has some weight and we have given him a green belly button. He was a bit of an experiment and although not a true image of the flower, I hope you like our portrayal.
