"Saisons"

For the first time at the Scottish Bear Fair there was a competition for the bear makers, the theme was the Four Seasons and Saisons was our entry in the under 10" category. Sadly she did not win but we hope you love her nonetheless. Saisons is the French word for seasons and this lovely bear represents all four seasons in one. Her upper right side and arm is Spring, shades of green, pale pink and lemon, her upper left side and arm are Summer, rich shades of pink, red and purple. For Autumn, her lower left side and leg we have used orange and browns and for Winter, her lower right side and leg gorgeous cool blues and ice white. Saisons is 5 1/2" tall and has been heavily filled with steel shot and steel balls, she has a lovely stitched nose and smile using a mixture of colours and shiny black English glass eyes. We have given her a pretty lemon ribbon flower over her right ear and a grey polka dot belly button. I do hope that you like her, she is feeling a little dejected! Saisons costs £50 plus postage.
