Say aloha to Haku, the first Hula Girl we have made for ages. She is an adorable bear just 4" tall and made of a lovely dense, tufted gold South African mohair backed in a lighter shade of gold. Her skirt is made from dense, very long yellow plush fur with feather strands and black tips, it makes a great grass skirt. To represent the Hawaiian flower lei we have given her a pretty bead necklace in shades of blue and gold, she has a blue ribbon flower over her right ear and a blue belly button. Her pads and paws are gold ultrasuede, she has a black stitched nose and shiny black English glass eyes. With her steel shot filling Haku is a nice weight for her small size. Her name is Hawaiian and has more than one meaning, it can mean to braid or plait as in a lei in your hair but it is also the word used to describe the writing action of writing poetry or songs in Hawaiian. I do hope you like her, she is rather gorgeous. Haku costs £45 plus postage.
Please note that as with all our bears, Haku is not a toy and is not suitable for chldren.
