An update on our suspension of parcel delivery to the USA
(October 04, 2026)Royal Mail now have a system in place to deal with the tariffs on exports being sent from the UK to the USA and we were hoping to be able to resume sending parcels to the US, however the President keeps changing the tariffs and adding more levels of complication so at this time we are still not sending parcels to the USA. If things change we will of course let you know.

On 30th July 2025 the US Government announced the removal of the de minimus limit for tariffs on exports to the US. This was previously $800 which was more than sufficient to cover the value of our bears. From 29 August 2025 all goods sold to customers living in the US must have a tariff applied to them which has be paid to US Customs BEFORE the item arrives in the US. Royal Mail are working closely with US Customs to set up a delivery service which will enable this to happen when you buy your online postage but as yet this is not in place. Therefore sadly we have had to suspend sales of our bears to the US until this situation is clarified and resolved.
We are hoping to be able to reinstate postage options to the US later this year and will update our website as the situation evolves. In the meantime we apologise for the inconvenience and should any of you see a bear that you wish to adopt, please make a note of it and let us know. Once things have been sorted out we will be happy to make you a similar bear.
