This gorgeous bear is Romanov and he is one of our new Woolyback Bears, he is 5 1/2" tall and made from beautiful short lilac mohair combined with much longer, wavy, very pale pink Schulte mohair, the contrast is great. Our Woolyback Bears are inspired by a name given locally in medieval times to people who used to try and avoid the entrance fee to enter through Chester City Walls on market day, they would sneak in through the livestock entrance with a sheep on their back! We loved this story so much we named a Collection after it and Romanov is one of them, the long fur has been used for his ears, the back of his head and his back. He is steel shot filled for a good weight, has pale lilac pads and paws, a black stitched nose and shiny black English glass eyes. He may be bonkers but he's gorgeous! I hope you like him, he costs £58 plus postage.
