"Squeak"

This is Squeak, a delightful 5" elephant made from grey backed "Ice blue" German mohair with a sparse, quite scruffy pile, a really lovely shade. His inner ears, pads and paws are made from cotton fabric, cream and light brown backed with a turquoise floral pattern which really stands out. We have heavily filled him with steel shot so he sits really well, he has shiny black English glass eyes and a blue belly button. In style our elephants have short legs with round footpads, short arms, a downward pointing trunk and a round tummy, they look best sat down. Although you can't see it very well, they all have a smiling mouth, happy elephants, and we give them a plaited tail which in Squeak's case is made from turquoise thread. I just love making our elephants and have lots of ideas, I hope you like Squeak, he costs £55 plus postage.
