"Ronald"

We haven't made a full sized Fred style bear for ages so we are delighted to introduce you to Ronald! He is 10" tall and is made of magnificent mohair which the photograph possibly doesn't do justice to. It is dark brown backed with a scruffy matted pile which has been dyed almost in stripes of darker and pale shades of terracotta which fades in places to blonde. We have not dyed this ourselves, it is as we bought it and it makes for a very unusual bear because as you cut out the pieces you get a combination of the darker shades and pale ones next to each other. His pads and paws are tan coloured cashmere which we have detailed with needle sculpting and black stitched claws. Ronald is filled with plastic pellets and a combination of plastic pellets and steel balls in his tummy which is quite loosely filled giving him a lovely squidgy feel. He has a black stitched nose and shiny black English glass eyes, he is just gorgeous, I do hope you agree! Ronald costs £89 plus postage.
