"Fother"

This is Fother, a gorgeous 3 1/2" Clown bear made from short, tufted, corn yellow German mohair. We have combined this with dark green cashmere for his pads and paws, a green and white checked ribbon ruff, a dark green stitched nose and a green felt hat with a yellow bell on the top and a pale yellow pom-pom on the front. Fother is part of our Weights and Measures Collection, apparently in the 14th to the 18th centuries in England, a fother was a unit of mass for lead! This is quite appropriate really as he is pretty heavy, being filled not with lead but with steel shot! He has a dark green belly button and shiny black English glass eyes. He is very sweet and I do hope that you like him. He costs £39 plus postage.
